By accessing, downloading, installing, or utilizing Woofurnal (including the native mobile application, the progressive web application at woofurnal.app, and associated documentation), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the application.
2. Veterinary & Medical Disclaimer
IMPORTANT VETERINARY NOTICE:
Woofurnal is an organizational record-keeping and habit-tracking tool. It is NOT a substitute for professional veterinary medical advice, diagnosis, or clinical treatment. The A4 Health Passport PDF is an organizational summary formatted for clinic review and requires physical inspection, signature, and stamping by a licensed veterinarian. Always consult a certified veterinarian regarding medical conditions, vaccination protocols, or pet behavioral emergencies.
3. Intellectual Property & Proprietary Rights
The software, design systems, logos, typography, slogans ("Every Woof Has A Story"), and codebases of Woofurnal are the proprietary intellectual property of Woofurnal. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to utilize the application for personal canine management. You may not decompile, reverse engineer, resell, redistribute, or create derivative works from the application without prior written authorization.
4. Offline Data Ownership & User Responsibility
Because Woofurnal operates offline-first and stores records on your local device storage, you are solely responsible for maintaining regular backups of your records using the built-in JSON export feature. Woofurnal is not liable for data loss resulting from device malfunction, operating system reformatting, uninstallation, or physical hardware damage.
5. Modifications to Service & Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the application following the posting of updated terms constitutes your binding acceptance of those changes.
